mGovWorld is a multistakeholders initiative and aims partnering with the government agencies, academic institutions , multilateral development agencies and industry to accelerate the development and deployment of innovative indeas for enhancing the reach of public services to the unconnected regions. In addition , the initiative aims to investigate the use of mobile devices and applications in enhancing democracy.
The Society for Promotion of e-Governance (SPEG) is a think tank and mission mode organization, promoted by senior IT and e-Government Practitioners, bureaucrats and legal experts as its founder members. SPEG has been engaged in research, knowledge management, community building projects in Asia and Europe. The organization has actively participated in the e-Government policy deliberations of Malaysia, Nepal and European commission over past two years and has partners in Europe and South East Asia for accelerating e-Government initiatives. The e-Development Thematic Group, World Bank is a global community of professionals interested in the role of ICT in development, which is open for participation by both World Bank staff and external clients and partners. The Danish Technological Institute holds a central position at the point where research, business, and the community converge. The Institute’s mission is to promote sustainable growth and innovation by improving interaction and encouraging synergy between these three areas.
